Good to see you lookers are still at it. Interesting turn of events with Hedo and the Fluffers. We will be back Dec 22nd through 30th. We were there last year just after Xmas and left several days after New Years. They had a very large party for NYE, unlike anything we had seen in the past. Bob and Irene(?) were there too. We settled on Temptation Los Cabos, because we didn't have a big enough group to rent a villa. Turns out we have a group of 7 now, so we could have done a villa, but couldn't get enough to commit earlier. We go 12/17 to 12/26. Will do a trip report here, as it looks like a fun place and it's way cheaper than Hedo @ $189/night per couple until the 24th, when it jumps to $289. The savings pays for our airfares. Hi Guys! We were not able to do the days you had planned ... both of us are still tied up. We searched and settled on H2 again from 26 Dec thru 5 Jan (2 days longer than typical). That puts us there during New Years for the first time, which will be great since we don't usually get cranked up for New Years. Thanks for the invite anyway... B/C
Hi Guys, We've been out of the country for a month and a half. Sorry we have not responded. Our info on N Resort is that it's expensive, as is HII now. We're looking at a villa in Mexico for a small group of couples the week before Christmas. We actually spend less money, have a house on the beach with a swimming pool, and we'll make our own Hedo with much better food. If you're interested, let us know.
Howard! Just noticed your message a couple weeks ago. We have not been on here in awhile, but since we are going back June 21, we needed to check the H2 weather. When we were booking this stay, we did some preliminary checking for the holiday as well. Based on our typical 8 night stays and the way the holidays fall, we would be traveling on Christmas Eve day and New Years day. And with the additional bookings at H2 resulting from the closing of H3, both the booking and airfare was coming up more expensive than the stays before. The only down side to N-Resort, the last time I checked they did not offer the gratis diving that has been a very big draw for us. We would be interested in what you find out. We have been thinking of talking to Kim and Cathy about getting Fluffer rates for the holiday. We recognize we still need to get photos to you (also need to talk to Virginia and Darren).
