Hotel to a Hotel transfers???

We will be spending 5 nights at Hedo and then transferring to Couples San Souci for our last two nights.
I guess we will have to take a taxi. It looks like a 3 hour drive, so I’m guessing it will be a expensive taxi ride.
Anyone have any advice, ideas, or a better way??? Please let us know.

You can take the Knutsford Express bus which is 2500 JMD per person if you book at least 1 day in advance (about 20 US). The Negril terminal is right across from Times Square. You can take a route taxi from Hedo to the station for 130 JMD per person. The terminal in Ocho Rios is downtown and you can get a taxi from there to Couples San Souci. For just 2 days at Couples, I would stay at one of the Couples in Negril and go to San Souci on a future trip.

Great information, thank you.
We’ve already booked San Souci, so we are committed. I think it would be best to get a private taxi because of our luggage. Not ideal trying to take a bus with all that luggage.

I did contact a local taxi service and they said at the current rate, a one way taxi ride from Hedo to Couples San Souci is about 2 hours and 45 minutes and would charge $150 usd.
That is more than fair and we will be booking with them when it comes time.
