Cancun Rock n Roll half marathon

My Canadian cowboy is considering running in the half marathon in Dec. in Cancun. Then we would spend the week at Desire Pearl relaxing. Anyone else on here planning to do the race? Anyone done it before? We are trying to find out if race bib pick up is at an “expo” or at the race start. Unfortunately, there is no info about this on the Rocknroll website yet. It just says “info coming soon”. However, we need to plan now, in order to book a room at Pearl and get airline tickets.
Any info would be great!
