Negril Hostel - $20 per night!

I was digging around online and found this SUPER cheap deal. Not sure what to make of it. First off it's a hostel, a dorm like room.

Shared bathrooms, etc.

The ad read like this...

"Silver Star Outback is located in central Negril, about a 15 minute walk to the world famous Seven Mile Beach or to the equally famous Negril cliffs. We offer 1-5 small, private rooms, some connecting, starting @ USD $20 per person nightly, $100 weekly, USD $25 for 2 people nightly, $125 weekly. One of the rooms is a kitchenette with sink, stove, and frig for $10 more. A bed, no a/c, a fan, free internet access, clean linens and towels are provided. We have on site security. It is about an hour and a half from the Montego Bay airport to Negril. Our rooms are ideal for people that want to go out and see REAL Jamaica instead of staying at some resort."

I can't find a web site. Phone number reads, Call Ja 876-395-3161 or US 816-521-8684 and ask for Wags.

Never heard of it.. And I don't think it exists.. The pic shown with the pic you posted is not in Negril. So not a good idea.. Plenty of cheap places in Negril, Jah B's being one of them.. But I don't trust this one..

Silver Star Outback DOES exist. Instead of negative speculation, call or email. We are one month old and the ad is accurate.

Do you have a website with additional information/photo's Wags??

It is very irresponsible to post an opinion about something you don't know. Silver Star is about three weeks old. You are most welcome to come and spend some time with us and then you can make all the comments you want with knowledge instead of negative speculation. Do you exist? I don't know. I would like to meet you.

I met some college kids a few years ago that had accomodations on the cliffs for around 20.00 per night they said it was hot, but okay.

So I am going off the pictures posted.. I am not attacking, nor posting an opinion. I am merely going on the information given. And the information is inaccurate. No???

I would absolutely LOVE to stop by. I am always looking for places to refer others to, and even chill at. And I'm sure you would love to be added to the map, as I know you have shown interest in helping to update it. ;)
