Going off our many trips to H3, Absolut is as top shelf as it gets. They also have Smirnoff. There is also a Jamaican vodka that you don't want to touch with a 10 foot pole. Depending on the group, the resort can run out of the good stuff. If you're drinking it straight, I'd bring your own bottle, if you just having it with mixers, Absolut will probably work.

Get it at the airport where it is duty free on your way to Jamaica.

I saw another post that said you could buy--Duty Free--Coming in at the airport, MBJ. Is this true?
OR! Should we buy Duty Free, leaving the states?
If the prices are close? WHY even do it! Immigration/Customs, etc. Bottles--PIA [pain in the ass]
We have a Jacuzzi room and just want to make sure that we have a "few" cocktails available---For the friends we meet, to invite over.
Any feedback would be great--Thanks! Laura & Lew 5/26-6/2

You will not see any Duty Free Shops (or any shops, for that matter) when arriving in Mongtego Bay. (At least, in May of 2009)
You walked down a long hallway, down a ramp, through Immigration, through customs, and out the door.
I suggest you purchase it at your last US airport stop before leaving for Montego Bay.

I forgot to see what vodka's they had but I know Value Master had all kinds of booze, as does Hi-Lo. Hell they even had Patron.
Just got back Monday and the resort had Absolute and Stoli. No GG this trip that I saw
