Jamaican is Red Stripe country, you'll also find a few other Jamaican brands, Guiness, and Heineken and that about it.

The gift shop at Hedo does have a few US Beers for sale, I have seen Miller Lite there but can't remember if I saw Bud Light

On our last trip down this guy from Canada who spent all his time at the dining pool hot tub, was paying a cab driver $50 a day to bring him Bud Light, so I know it's available, and fairly close to the resort... Just ask the front desk to point out a driver (or get you one), and I'm confident you'll find it. That said, the Red Stripe light is a pretty good beer (and it's free).

It's a foreign country where you drink foreign beer, eat foreign food, and do things you can't do back home. That's Hedo for you. And the local beer is (as everyone who returns to Hedo knows) excellent.

Well I don't know about currently, but in the past I have been TOLD that they had it at the little convenience store at the "Aerodome" just around the corner from Hedo. It's within walking distance, and I have talked to several people who walked over to get beer.

Rolling Rock is pretty good. Its made by budweiser. I had it a few times while on the home island.

Mega Mart in Mobay sells Bud Light. I usually stop there for a few cases of Miller Lite before heading to the resort.

I second that Dick!The last thing we want is a "sudden drop of blood pressure."Last trip I make a point to drink a big water between any drinks during the day and mostly no alcohol at night.Kept me from "hitting the wall" midweek like happened the previous two trips.I do make sure she has whatever she wants though,particularly when we hit the piano bar......LOL!

Some of us have had to learn the hard way to pace ourselves or precious vacation time can get wasted.That said,being wasted once in 2014 was something we still laugh about.Thot I was going to be sick at dinner but eating nothing but bread to absorb the excesses of my revelry turned out to be the right move.........

Oh yeah totally agree. I learned the hard way on the first day. Totally missed dinner and passed out. From there on out there was no more hard alcohol during the day. Mimosas in the morning, red stripe in the afternoon and vodka tings at night. That pace worked perfectly for me. Dont even think I had the slightest hangover any day the rest of the trip. But that first day...phew that was a blur and quite frankly it was no good because I wasnt able to fully enjoy the hedo experience. Buzzed is good, but beyond that ruins the fun (to me at least).
