Hey everyone. We just finalized our plans for August 4th through the 9th. We are Hedo II and III vets many times over. We typically go to III in the winter or early spring with Denny P. This is our first time going in August. I've added our names to the AWOL website. From the posts and visitor schedule, it looks to be a fun time coming up.

We fly in Sunday evening (8/3) and need to find a place to stay until Monday afternoon check in at Hedo. Has anybody ever stayed at Club Ambiance or Heart? Both appear to be comperable in price and general location to III. Does it cost to take one of the buses to those two hotels from the airport (we've always caught the buses directly to Hedo from MBJ)?

Any info would help. Ron

Hi Ron and Cathy! Nice to hear you are planning on joining us in AWOL. We will look forward to hearing from you and getting you all dialed in for chats and all the good stuff. If we had to pick a resort to stay at I think I would consider Piper's Cove- it is right next to H3. They offer a double room for $95 per couple and transport is available for $30 pp from the airport. So $155 for the night including transport. Not sure if that is a good deal for you or not, but it does put you right next to the resort for the next morning's checkin.

I never thought of Piper's Cove! I did the Travelocity search and picked Club Ambiance and Heart because of their general area and prices. I've also heard some mention of Ambiance in other posts (either here or DennyP), but I've never paid any attention to them. The cost of Piper's Cove looks to be a good deal. It looks about the same as the other two hotels with all things factored in.

I'll buy you a drink at the nude bar for the info

Since you are staying at Hedo the next day, pop into the Superclubs desk and see if you can catch a shuttle to Pipers since your way is paid for the next day. Just a thought.

Hedo 3 will be closing for good August 23 and reopening as Superfun mid Oct. I truly hope the resort is not running out of everything for all the people going late August! They will either close the resort with a BANG! or slowly wind down.

Hope you have a really great time! We just returned June 6th from Hedo 3.
