If so was it easy to get it through security at the airport with out them pulling it out and drawing a lot of attention to us

I have seen people bring it but then it didnt really get alot of use. Should be no problem with it checked.

We've taken one down...but for a gift exchange..not for use. Put it in our checked bag and not a problem....We have seen them before..you'll find plenty of trees that you can hang it off!!

I personally think that a full swing would be a bit of a pain to bring, but only because they're pretty bulky and a bit on the heavy side. If I was you I would pick up an "over the door swing." they're small, light and can just be tossed over any door with a frame. Plus I've never seen one that cost over 50 bucks.
