My better half recently reminded me of a very important issue that will arise during our time at Hedo.

Shuffleboard.

See, 10 years ago we went to Sandals for a week and while we were there my wife beat me in every game of shuffleboard we played... and we must've played 20-30 times.

So of course, now we are preparing for the epic rematch, a decade in the making. But the important question...

Is the shuffleboard on the nude or prude side? If it's on the nude side I have no chance of winning... my wife knows just how to distract me at the key moments.

Of course, losing that way would be a lot more fun.

So after four trips to Hedo2..there really is a shuffleboard court? I mean I know there some pretty distracting things going all of time but one would think I could'nt miss a freak'n shuffleboard court...are you sure?

Did you know there was also a minature golf course ?

If I remember correctly there is one on the nude side, and the prude side on the way to the buffet. We happened to use the one on the nude side with another couple and had a great time!

All I remember is giant chess pieces, which usually end up in someone's bed by the end of the week. Never seen a shuffleboard though

I did hear about the mini golf, heard it was in really bad shape. Was actually thinking of doing a min golf tournament for our group but will check it out in 44 days for 2012.

Bobandlauara, you played 20 to 30 games of shuffleboard at Sandals because there is nothing else to do at sandals,I bet you don't play 5 games at H2. lol

The mini golf is indeed in a pretty sad state. Perhaps if a large enough group requested they get it cleaned up they might at least clean away the leaves a bit.

There may be a shuffleboard court on the prude side, but I've never noticed it. I've also spent less than two hours in all our trips on the prude side, so who knows. There is most definitely a shuffleboard court on the nude side, though I've never seen it used. It seems to be in fair condition though. Not sure if the equipment is nearby or if you have to wrangle it from someone though. I'd definitely be up for a game or two, but as feetdown says, I can't imagine wasting my day away playing shuffleboard when I could be socializing in the pool.
