There is a very good article in the Jan 2012 edition of Health & Efficiency.. (I was going to say ' I came across it' but that doesn't sound right nor would it be true!).. it really does give a very good insight to Le Cap..

Google 'Health & Efficiency Le Cap D'Adge' and it should take you there...

We are confirmed. We'll be there June 29 through July 4. Just a 5 day trip for us since we'll also be touring the south of France on this trip. Let us know if anyone will be there. Will be nice to have some english speaking people there at the same time since my french is pretty limited.

Thanks for the pointer to the article. Very interesting for someone who has never been there. We will be there for a few days during our trip in July.

We will miss you as well, as we don't arrive until the 23rd or so.

For anyone thinking about a trip to the Naturist Quarter of Cap d' Agde here's a quick note about our recent trip.

We just returned from an 8 day trip to this area and we absolutely loved it. It's definitely not Hedo but if you are looking for an erotic, naked vacation it is worth a visit. Hedo is a resort of a couple of hundred people that tend to all hang out in the same general area so it's easy to meet and mingle. Cap d' Agde is a naturist city that supposedly has up to 40,000 people on a hot weekend.

There's something for everyone here. There's a long, nice mile-long beach along the Mediterranean packed with naked people on a hot weekend. It's a nice walk and there are a number of places to stop along the way to grab a drink or bite to eat. Cap d' Agde itself has a numbers of places to stay. Everything from campsites to 5 star hotel rooms to weekly units. There are also a number of restaurants, snack places, bistros, bars, stores, etc..

Overall it's a fun experience. During the day, most people are naked. They sunbathe, shop, dine, walk, ride bikes, etc, naked. If you've ever wondered what it was like to go about your day naked, here is your opportunity.

At night, the vibe shifts to much more of an adult theme. Most people dress for the evenings and women wear some really wild and sexy outfits. There are a number of Lifestyle clubs that start hopping later in the evening and some of the bars get pretty wild at night.

We stayed at a hotel called Jardin d' Eden. Expensive but worth it in our opinion. Centrally located, really nice room with 2 person tub, shower, small kitchen, comfy, large bed. It's a private area enclosed behind security gates. Couples only. I believe there are about 30-40 rooms. The hotel rooms surround a pool. There is a platform around the pool lined side-by-side with cushions. There is a bar and restaurant at the pool. If you are into PDAs, this is the place to be. There is almost non-stop PDA action and given how close everyone is to the people on either side it can get interesting. You'll be relaxing, listening to music or chatting with someone and you'll glance over and see the people next to you in full PDA mode. It's accepted and common. We didn't see much swapping or group activity at first but there was a Lifestyle group coming in for a full takeover after we left so the activity was definitely shifting in that direction. We met people from France, Germany, UK, Spain, Italy.

The absolute MUST DO for the trip was the foam party. One of the Lifestyle clubs does an afternoon foam party every day. They have a huge outdoor area with bars, beds, chairs, huge hot tub, showers and dance floor. Couples only, full nudity is required. You surrender everything except your towel when you check in. They fill the dance area with foam and dozens of naked people. let your imagination run wild and it would probably be fairly accurate. Some couples stayed off to the side to do some private foamy dirty dancing while others just mashed in the center as part of a naked sardine grope-and-grind fest. Afterwards, people found a spot on a chair or bed either as a couple or with others to continue the fun.

We are not really swingers though Mrs 46to10 enjoys other women and there was certainly something for everyone at the foam party. We are likely to return again next summer from 6/26 through 7/7. If anyone is thinking about going and wants to chat more, please send us a message.

Lastly, this area in the south of France is a wonderful place to visit. Vineyards, old cities, medieval towns and castles. We spent a few extra days touring the surrounding areas and it was a nice end to our trip.

All in all, more expensive than Hedo, longer travel times and a different experience but a thoroughly enjoyable vacation.
