Hedo II Sold

This is really great news BUT now I am concerned with the 10M they are going to put into it if all goes through, that they will raise the prices a lot. But I guess that is a part of life. And we will have to wait and see. Any insight into that Joe or too early to know?

Not privy to that info. I can only speculate what will happen with pricing but they cannot price themselves out of the market and I think being guests over the years, they already know that.

Given the economics of a full house at reasonable prices or half-full at higher prices, I know which one I'd choose.

Let's not rule out that the asking price may have been negotiated with the cost of renovations included.Sort of like buy a car with bald tires and making the seller come off the price to account for it.Who knows?But if rates likely go up a bit,competition always rules and when all is said and done,you get what you pay for most of the time.

We've been undecided to make trip # 6 in August/September 2013 or try someplace else. This seems to be great news

Ah, wonderful news, my sister the TA said it would be sold this year and not continue to operate as it has in the past, Wrong..........Yipee, The prices will go up I'm sure, but it will be nice to get a few upgrades and a very positive vibe on the property with guests and staff alike. Nice I was getting scared.

My wife and I are excited for our first trip to Hedo in March. We have been nervous with all the talk about selling but it looks like that can be put to bed. Can't wait to enjoy hedo and hopefully some enhancements to the facility.

I can't see the price changing a LOT. But it's funny, so many people say they want all these improvements, but at the same time keeping the cost the same. That is just NOT possible to happen. And now there are several owners, so the money has to be spread even further. But at least they are keeping it Hedo and not changing it to another Super Fun Resort!!! lol

There are way too many resorts out there in this price range that are much nicer. No they don't have the same party atmosphere but that's not the only reason we vacation.

Even if they do spend the 10M,that may only bring it up to the standards of the current pricing.If they want to increase rent they would have to make some drastic changes,people will only pay so much until they seek out other playgrounds.

I so much want to believe that $10,000,000.00 dollars are going to be spent on renovations at Hedonism. If they do, I wonder where they will start, and when.
