I am no longer going to be a single guy going as I have gotten one of my female friends to join me. Due to my work schedule we will be going Sept. 23-30. Can anyone tell me if this is a good time of year to go.

Hurricane season doesn't worry me much. I live down in south Alabama about an hour from the ocean and I work offshore on oil rigs.
