Does anyone know what H3 (and others) are doing?

We returned home this past Wed. from H3. We still have friends there and have no idea what is going on at this point and time. We haved tried the cell phone and email with no success.

Does anyone know what, if anything, is being done at H3 to try and keep the guests and staff safe? Has anyone talked to someone there to see if anything is being done?

We, like many I'm sure, are worried about our friends and everyone else there!

We spoke with our friends Mark and Boo this morning. They are still at H3 and were unsuccessful in getting off the island for the last couple days. When we spoke with them, they said that the resort services were continuing, but they were getting frequent updates on what was coming. During our conversation, they mentioned that parts of the resort were being prepped for the storm, such as windows being boarded, lounges being collected- all things not chained down being put away. They told us that they had been notified that they would be spending the night in pastafari tonight as the outer edges of the storm begin to come over the island. Mark said there were not very many people left on the resort guest wise. Our thought is that for accountability reasons more than safety they are being kept together in pastafari- easier to keep track of all that way.
On a personal note, they seemed to be in good spirits and did not express much trepidation at their predicament. We are just watching the weather site hourly and hoping for a southward turn in Dean's progress. Lots of satellite imagery here:

Keep a good thought and fingers and toes crossed, hopefully all of our friends at hedo and from hedo will come through this safely.

Thanks for the update!!! Good to hear they are in good spirits, this looks like a badass storm and most likley will do major, major damage. We like you, are very worried about our friends and everyone else there. If you, or anyone else, gets any updates from the resort or friends there, plz keep us posted.
