Simply the BEST trip ever to Hedo II
Just getting around to sharing how much fun this trip was. We went March 8-16 for MS NSS Week
Simply the Best time we have ever had at Hedo II and I could scream from the roof top how much of a great time we just had.
In reference to food:
The food was awesome. No negatives at all. They have available better food now than when we were there last Nov.
The sweets are even better. More bakery items such as breads, muffins, cookies etc. Not saying this is why we went but it was nice to have the choice. All hot foods were delish.
Enjoyed Martino's this time and it was delicious. No complaints at all!
Our arrival:
Easy peezy.. Obviously we were gonna have a room but the room we reserved wasn't ready so they put us in a new garden room and offered us massages which was nice. We then transferred to our requested room the next day.
Yes it was a pain in the butt to move but it was not gonna rain on our parade. The new rooms are so nice EXCEPT every time we showered the water still comes out in to the bathroom area.
This is after they have put a strip of marble ledge down. So being that they still need to change that concept. Other than that new rooms are great!
Now the rest of our trip was in our requested nude Oceanside room which they have updated with paint, bedding, lighting etc. Our air conditioner being cranky loud and vibrating and our cold shower all week were our two pains. Not one single day of warm or hot shower.
But we dealt with it. That really was no biggie for us since we were on island time.
Staff:
The staff is always great and as it was this time. We have favorites whom we look forward to seeing every time. They do an amazing job at entertaining the guests and being personal.
We went on the pub crawl and it was such a great time. We went with other friends we knew. Great memories made that day for sure.
We stopped at 3 different pubs and one at which 4 of us took a cab back for dinner. Enjoyed the tastiest lobster dinner...yum!
Nekkid water slide was a blast as always. Disco and bar are was nice but we didn't hang there too much.
Piano Bar is where we hung out every evening. Great vibe ever night.
Our departure:
We decide to leave an hour earlier than our ticket time. The front desk was really kind and actually told us to hold on that they had a personal car for us since our rooms were messed up upon arrival.
So we did have a nice ride to the airport. Our driver was cool and informative about many things in Jamaica.
We cant wait to go back.
After not really enjoying ourselves too much last November we knew we wanted a different week other than Lovevoodoo week. Well we got it. We had the best trip to Jamaica in our over a dozen trips.
My husband and I had a week long of late nights, the best laughter i think we ever had, made new memories, met awesome new friends and reunited with dear ones whom we are all already talking about our return next March.
With the great times we had we are OK with skipping a trip in November and waiting till Ms NSS Week next year.
We hope you guys have as much fun as we did on your next trip.
I know DIF will set in eventually but right now the fun times we endured will last a long time and NOW ITS TIME TO DETOX!!!!!!
