We were certainly concerned about the stories of the "biohazard" that is the nude hot tub, but then we went there and saw first hand the abuse this body of water recieves- countless drinks are spilled, food dropped, gallons of sunscreen... I'm sure there is some degree of bodily contaminants, but I'll bet it is a small portion of the total. Not that I'm advocating just dropping a load into the water, but chlorine and daily changing of the water should go a long way toward keeping things safe. Heck, our personal spa looks cloudy after a week of use with two people, and there is no bodily fluid deposited there.

The last time we were at Hedo III in Oct. 2007, the nude jacuzzi was drained and cleaned twice in 5 days. It was done early in the am. There's also enough chlorine to kill
everything maybe even small creatures. With all of the PDA's in the jacuzzi i never saw any bodily fluids deposited in it.

We were also in the nude hot tub a lot during a week last October. The water was fine. And there were lots of activities going on, especially after midnight. We were in it a lot during the day too. It is drained every morning, cleaned and refilled. I wish we were there right now.

ok, sorry, I was being flippent, DIF, is dreaded island fever, which you get when you head home from from your frist trip, til you return next time, and it only gets stronger each subsequant (sp?) trip

we are planning a trip in january or little before don't know which hedo to pick, 2 or 3. what do you think?

That is a hard question to answer, and you will find many differnt opinions, I think most people end up going to one or the other, for whatever reason, and because they have such a great time, keep going back, why fix something thats not broke?

IMPO, I think you may be served best by reading trip reports on both, look at what groups are going when you are, chatting with them awhile, and see if you find a fit, then go where there going.

Or. do like we did the first time, go completely blind, and let it happen, that was 9 trips ago, oh, and all of them at Hedo 3

no it was not directed at what you wrote, just to anyone writing anything. i am just so new at this. i do lots of research before a trip and this website is helpful. i would enjoy reading any and everything that someone takes the time to write. also, is this how you get started with finding people who are going when you do? just post it?
