We also plan on watching, the previews look "cute", but sure it's atlot of innuendo without much skin.
If you can find it, a canadian movie "the Cabin" is a lesson on how NOT to have a swing party with four couples....Jealousy, Trepidation, and fun games gone wrong....quite funny actually...

"i would NEVER share my husband with anyone" a female coworker...who's husband has probably already been shared.

Robin talked about this upcoming t.v. show today on Howard Stern. At first Howard was all excited about it but after listening to a clip he said it sounded boring.

I personally wish it was more current like a Desperate Housewives instead of being set in the 1970's.

    Swingtown

If you are looking for titilation..... try any other channel.
It had the real 70's look to it and it was funny enough that I will watch at least a few more episodes.
I wasnt in the lifestyle in the 70's (just a kid) but it is believable enough.

Im sure that they will run the pilot again and Id guess that it is available somewhere online.
    Like here maybe?

Allikat and I watched it this morning (DVR) and we liked it. Kinda cheesy lines here and there but it is the 70's lol. We will continue watching until they cancel it which I am sure that will be soon, hopefully not though. Good enough to check out for the summer.
Looking to hopefully go back in 2010!

I didnt like the way it portrayed everyone as users of drugs, but then again it was the 70's, lol. Also seems like every swinger family is "disfunctional" if there is such a thing. I just hope they don't continue that way and make it out as all swingers have screwed up families.

I like it, its an easy going comedy for the summer when nothing else is on. We will continue to watch it. It's a little slow right now, but hopefully that will change. Plus, you gotta love the hair styles and god for bid wallpaper!

    yes/no

I understand what paul is saying about the portrayal of swingers as dysfunctional - hell, even Janet and Roger are dysfunctionally portrayed and they aren't swinging. We're all strange, just not all fucked up.

Last night's episode wasn't totally drug laced - seems Gail Saxton is always going to be into some form of addiction though, as her daughter said "sucks to be the one left behind".

What I can appreciate is the apprehension Susan and Bruce are feeling and the range of emotions they both go through. It's kinda cool to remember how we felt just getting started, and how our emotions have changed over the years.

I like the series - not too dramatic and I don't have to think or solve anything for once.

Not swingers... but I love the show. I take it as 80% accurate. I assume as Paul says, they over do the screwed upness... I guess they feel it's going to be more publically mainstream accepted, as long as they portray the subjects as lost and confused. After all, how could "normal" people swing (lol)... Ah... TV and making everyone feel safe.

    I LOVE the music too...

I recognized the Melrose Place guy, but I don't think I've seen any of the others before. Maybe this will be the "All in the Family" politically incorrect show that turns out to be a long lasting hit. They don't have an Archie (or an Edith), but maybe we can grow to love some of the others...

Is your glass "half full," or "half empty"... At Hedo, who cares... go ahead and fill it up every time you're near the bar...

The network only ordered 7 episodes so unless the ratings are huge, i wouldn't expect it to be back in the Fall. It is a great show for its entertainment value and the music but I'm not sure any one us were old enough in the early to mid 70's to know what really went on in suburbia. Now I really know what went on when my parents went to those neighborhood parties!
