Thanks. Is this just a way of connecting people who are going to be there at the same time, or is it a group of people who already know each other outside of the trip?

It is both. Each year new people join the group. We keep in contact with several members. This will be our 5th trip with the Runaways and we absolutely love it. The group gives you a chance to get to know some others traveling the same time as you. There are weekly chats leading up to the trip.

We have put in a request to join the group also. We are heading to Hedo 3 on the 13th of Feb and looking to connect with others.

The wife and I arrive on the 14th and will unfortunately be leaving on the 21st. We are new to all of this as well and the excitement is bukliding day by day. We'll all have a blast. I am 43 (Steve) and the wife is 34 (Becky). If see a couple where it looks like the husband outkicked his coverage that's us!
We look forward to meeting and partying with everyone.

Hey Guys... We'll be there from 2/17 to 2/22. We're not part of a group, but if enough of us first timers get together, we can make our own!!

My guess from reading sites is that there are two types only: those that have been and know exactly what is going to happen and will plan for it and the rest of us who are newbies and have no idea of what we are getting into.
We would love to chat abit with other newbies and plan on hooking up for bevies.
