I've shaved with a blade before, and unless you are just not careful, it is safer than an unguarded pair of trimmers. Love the feel of it, but can't do it often enough to keep it up without irritating the skin, which puts a crimp into pleasurable activities, and that I will not tolerate!
I wax it ALL off! It's easier and makes showering faster so I can get out of my room quicker..
