Sometimes your room is ready, sometimes it's not...depends on when it was vacated before you arrive, and how quickly housekeeping gets it ready. If not ready, park your backs with the Bell Hops, get Nekkid and Enjoy...no day pass required

Yup Hedo is the best for early arrivals

We usually take a taxi in and are there quick, so the room is almost never ready.
Like postings said before, not a big deal at all.
The desk will take your bags and put them behind, I would be a bit nervous about leaving them on the curb.
But after checking in, even if your early, your guests, eat drink go to the naked pool, whatever you want, it makes waiting for your room like, whatever, hehe.

Have your drink cup ready. Get a drink before even getting in line to see if your room is ready! Then act as noted above if it's not.

Even if you get there after check-in time there is a good chance that a room might not be ready. But don't sweat it. Whatever time you get there, just check in at the front desk. They'll tell you to leave your bags with the bell hops. Don't worry, they'll be fine with them. You'll probably want to bring wallets, cameras and passports with you, but we've even left that stuff behind.

We usually pack the few things that we might need at the beach right at the top of one of our bags (sandals, sunscreen etc.) so that we can grab that stuff and just head down. If you need to change or anything like that, there are washrooms and showers in the gym. They'll give you a pair of towel cards at check -in so that you can grab some beach towels.

Once you hit the party at the beach you probably won't even want to bother to go back to check in.
