Travel to Hedo III

We're heading for Hedo III in July but have to go via Kingston. Does anyone know the best way to get to Hedo III from there? There's several hours between our arrival and the first AJ flight out to Montego Bay. We wondered about renting a car or maybe booking a cab to take us direct to Runaway Bay.

Anyone got any experience of this?

Cab is about 3 hrs and $200 US. Helicopter direct to hedo 25 min. and a whopping $900 US. These are alternatives, but pretty pricey. Best to try to get flight right to montego bay.
