Hedo 3 - We came, we saw and it kicked our ass :) 8/1 - 8/8

I won't bore everyone with travel details that have been covered in previous trip reports. Suffice to say that it was international travel and a 1.5 hour bus ride.

Upon our arrival at H3 our wonderful group - AWOL - gave us a warm and perky booby salute. We have traveled with groups before and never felt as welcome during an entire trip as these guys made us feel in the first 5 minutes. They brought us drinks, showed us around and helped us get settled.

The trip is kind of a blur but here are the highlights...

Each day we had breakfast and lunch (maybe) and drank....a lot
Each night we had dinner, some activities and we drank....a lot more
We made great new friends
We got naked
We laughed
We grew closer as a couple
The rooms were okay
The staff was attentive (big shout out to Kadian at the Quad pool)
and most importantly....

WE CAN'T WAIT TO BOOK AGAIN FOR NEXT YEAR!!!!!

Big thanks to Rick, Ivy, Nick and Kitty - you guys did an awesome job planning the trip.

To S & R - thanks for escorting us in and out. The bus ride of death back to the airport was something to remember for sure.

To R & K - Virginia is for lovers and we LOVED you guys! Hope you enjoy the hat.

To the Cajun Crew - we are looking forward to New Orleans. You guys were so much fun.

Everyone was super nice and fun loving. AWOLers are the bestest ever in the history of ever.

To our special AWOL adopted friends (M&T, J&D, R&M, S&J) - keep in touch!!!

Glad you enjoyed Steph- so great to meet and hang with you and Bob after chatting with you so much. Too early to countdown to AWOL on Bourbon, but we are looking forward to it!

It was so great meeting, hanging and partying with you guys! I had a blast spending time with you! Steph, you are a riot... you jumped right in and participated in everything. You are both great folks, and I so look forward to hanging with you again in March (hopefully) and of course with AWOL in Hedo, 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
